!!! Call for E-workshop Participation !!!
As our project gets to its final stage we welcome contribution,
comments, suggestions, experience from researchers and industry people
on exploitation of multi-agent systems in Manufacturing (and eXPlanTech
multi-agent system in particular)

eXPlanTech Project Open E-Workshop:
ExPlanTech is a fully functional multi-agent system that has been
developed and implemented jointly by Gerstner Laboratory at Czech
Technical University, Unisoft and CertiCon software companies, a.s.
within the ExPlanTech IST Trial project partially funded by European
Commission. ExPlanTech exploits theoretical concepts of distributed
artificial intelligence and multi-agent systems, is implemented in
compliance with latest FIPA standards and has been tested in the Liaz
Pattern shop manufacturing site.
Call for contribution:
Multi-Agent Systems provide a novel paradigm for managing, modelling and
supporting complex systems. This concept proved to be successful in
number of industrial domains such as manufacturing, resource allocation
and production planning, air traffic. The e-workshop aims to bring
together researchers active in the area of multi-agent systems together
with key engineers and industrial decision makers to share their views
and experience in research, design, development and applying Multi-Agent
Systems for industrial problems.
Suggested topics (but not limited to):
Successful Industrial Applications of Multi-Agent Systems, Communication
Principles and Standards, Visions and future trends of Multi-Agent
Systems, Standardisation issues, industrial requirements, Obstacles and
barriers of industrial applicability
Form of a submission:
Researchers, experts, industrial decision makers are invited to submit
