On behalf of our enquirer, thanks to all who responded to my request. It
would appear that Winco Bank is by no means unique, although, as you'll see
from the quote below (the original reason for the query), you could quibble
over the terminology of appropriate level of modern settlement.
Anyone who runs into Dave Fine in a public place can now embarrass him.
Although, take it from me, he's not easily embarrassed.

Just to say thank you for that bit of research. It prompted me to find the
original reference...it's in a book called 'SHEFFIELD' by David Fine dated
1992, p 15.....
'The only hillfort in Europe inside city limits, its builders from its
ramparts in the sixth century BC would have seen the Don winding between
woodlands, pasture and arable fields - a picture which would scarcely change
overall for over 2000 years.'
I realise that Archaeology will have made great strides in the intervening
years so I'm going to be more careful with it next time. Thanks!
