The attached advert is due to appear in the Guardian shortly and the
Department of Geography, Queen Mary, University of London, invites people
to apply for:
1 ESRC Case PhD Studentship entitled Teaching the Art of Politics:
Broad-based organising in Britain, in collaboration with the Citizen's
Organising Foundation.
This will involve comparative research to explore the work of TELCO in East
London (looking in part at their living wage campaign) and IMPACT in
Sheffield.
A flyer is attached.
3 fully funded College studentships to work on any aspect of physical or
human geography in line with Departmental research themes.
A number of MSc Bursaries for the MSc in Globalisation and Development;
Cities and Cultures; and Geography.

applications is 5 April 2002.
