italian-studies: Scholarly discussions in any field of Italian studies
I am researching aspects of organised crime in Sicily, from 1900 to 1930 and need someone who can go to, to search, the old police archives In Palermo. I can provide a letter of introduction. These police archives are part of the State Archives there. I live in England and cannot understand Italian (replies in English, please). I also, in this context, need to know where certain police records are held aside from those held in Palermo. For example, there are provincial archives in Sicily that may also contain relevant records for this project. Thank you.
David Critchley.
