The School of Conservation Sciences is seeking to appoint a researcher on a
casual basis to join the AIP Project team for a period of twelve (12) weeks
working with a wide range of external organisations, obtaining and analysing
data from archaeological investigations undertaken in England during 2000.
The project is funded by English Heritage.
With a degree in, and a broad understanding of archaeology, your
demonstrated research and publication facility and field experience is
essential. Membership of the Institute of Field Archaeologists (IFA) is
desirable, as is a full, clean driving licence. A comprehensive knowledge of
databases (Paradox and Access) and word processing is also vital. This post
is based at Bournemouth University but involves extensive periods of travel
in England.
