Dear all,
a reminder about ...
ADS Workshop 30th January
The Archaeology Data Service is holding a one-day workshop at the King's
Manor, University of York, on Wednesday 30th January. The workshop will
map current and future developments in the fields of online
accessibility and digital archiving for researchers in the HE sector.
The workshop is also open to members of staff in cultural heritage
agencies, especially those that hold or are intending to apply for major
digitisation and access grants.
The workshop is designed to assist and support the creation,
dissemination and use of high quality digital research resources in
archaeology. It will inform the development of new funding applications
by highlighting strategic issues of concern to those who fund projects.
This will repeat the successful formula of the workshop held in January
2001 - taking into consideration, of course, developments which have
taken place since then.
The workshop is a core activity for the Archaeology Data Service, and is
provided free of charge; however, there is a non-refundable registration
fee of £10 for the provision of lunch and refreshments.
