It is a question of how you define the words , disability, impairment, people's conditions and negative discrimination.
Certainly a chronic illness causes impairment. However,
does the condition that person has, result in disability? The question I would ask here, does society's attitudes to people with that condition deny them any civil or moral Rights?
Well, that's my two Euro's worth.
