Are you concerned with issues of STUDENT SUCCESS and RETENTION?
Are you in SENIOR MANAGEMENT or consider yourself a CHANGE ACTIVIST in
Higher Education?
If so, you will be interested in the new magazine for decision-makers and
enthusiasts in learning and teaching in higher education, entitled
Exchange, to be launched this month.
Exchange will be published by a consortium of partners in UK HE, including
the Institute for Learning and Teaching in Higher Education (ILT), the
Learning and Teaching Support Network (LTSN), the National Co-ordination
Team (NCT), the National Disability Team (NDT), Action on Access and JISC
(Joint information Systems Committee). Edited by Cliff Allan, Programme
Director of the LTSN, and Carole Baume, former Director of the NCT each
issue will focus on a particular theme but will also include topical items
of news and general interest articles from the collaborating partners and a
diary of forthcoming events.
Exchange will be produced three times per year. The first issue, to be
published in late March will be devoted to the theme of Student Retention
and Student Success. The second issue, to be published in Summer 2002, will
focus on Employability and Work-Related Learning
Vice-chancellors, Pro-vice Chancellors (Teaching), Heads of Educational
Development Units and University Libraries should all receive a copy. If
