£30,000-£35,000 London Based
Created three years ago with an initial endowment from the National Lottery,
NESTA is the UK 's leading resource for supporting and promoting talent,
innovation and creativity in the fields of science, technology and the arts.
To ensure that we continue to make a significant impact upon the UK 's
learning environment, we require a unique individual to seek out, manage and
administer a portfolio of education projects with a science and technology
bias.
Networking with government departments, public bodies, the press, public and
private and voluntary organisations, you will support new approaches to
learning and new ideas to promote the public 's appreciation and
understanding of science. This exciting challenge will involve attending
conferences and meetings, encouraging greater interaction between the
sciences and contributing to the strategic development of the programme.
Open to new ideas and willing to expand your knowledge, you must be an
innovative thinker with knowledge of curricular and policy frameworks in
science and technology
education. With a first degree and 3 years' experience of developing
