Perhaps the PCS could be offered the opportunity to put its side of the
dispute. Here's a link that might add a bit of balance

Subject: Re: British Library saddened by strike action
Dear Lis-linkers,
Am I alone in feeling uncomfortable with the British Library's management
expressing their sadness and disappointment in this forum on their staff's
strike action and giving details of the pay offer that's been rejected?
Many librarians in unions around the country are facing what many may feel
are unsatisfactory pay offers but would be saddened and disappointed if
their managers criticised them in this fairly public forum for exercising
their legal right to take strike action.
Sincerely,
Gillian Rutherford
