Caroline,
Doesn't this imply an overhead in terms of network load and processor load
encrypting and de-encrypting these pages? Wouldn't it make more sense to
offer encryption as an option for those who require such security rather
than have all your IP authenticated users using encryption?
As far as I can see no other journal host service forces its users to use
encryption to access normal pages.
