GIS CO-ORDINATOR
 
Hanson Aggregates Marine Ltd is Europe's leading supplier of sea-dredged
sand and gravel, delivering to wharves in the UK and continental
Europe. 
 
An opportunity has arisen with the Resources Department for a GIS
Co-ordinator to manage, operate and develop a customised MapInfo/Access
based GIS.
 
The role involves the management, analysis and mapping of a wide
range of marine environmental data. The GIS Co-ordinator supports the
Resources Department providing charts, reports and data to assist
in the management of existing resources and the development of new
applications.
 
The post is permanent and an early start date is preferable.  Applicants
should have experience in using MapInfo or other GIS packages and
some knowledge of MS Access is desirable. A GIS related degree or
MSc is also advantageous.
The post is based at Hanson Aggregates Marine Ltd in Southampton,
