The Center for the Study of Brain, Mind, and Behavior (CSBMB) at
Princeton University invites applications for a postdoctoral research
position in mathematical analysis of neuroimaging data. Drs. Ingrid
Daubechies (Applied Mathematics), Jonathan Cohen (Psychology ) and
Wolfgang Richter (Chemistry) are collaborating to develop new algorithms
for denoising and blind source separation of fMRI data. This effort is
funded by an NIH grant from the Human Brain Project. The successful
candidate will work on the theoretical aspects of algorithm design
(including wavelet decomposition, independent component analysis) as
well as their practical implementation and testing. Salary will be
commensurate with experience. Ph.D. in Mathematics, Engineering,
Computer Science or Neuroscience required, with experience in software
development (Matlab, C).
