CALL FOR PAPERS
Forced Migration Review (www.fmreview.org) is preparing an issue on Older
People and Humanitarian Crises. We are interested in receiving papers
looking at such issues as:
- Do relief agencies listen to older people?
- What do displaced older people think of services provided by relief
- What can be done to end marginalisation of older refugees and IDPs and
ensure equitable access to food, shelter and medical care?
- What needs to be done to get agencies to pay attention to the needs,
knowledge and experience of older people?
- What innovative practices in working with older people should be
disseminated and replicated?
Maximum length: 3,000 words. Deadline: 1 March 2002. Please send
