angela, here are a few related articles ive read recently that
might shed a
little light...
1) Marlon Riggs, "Boyz in Hollywood", in _High Performance_, 1991
2) Valerie Smith, "Black Masculinity, Labour, and Social Change",
_Black Male_, 1995, 119-126.
these deal more with issues of gender and sexuality of Black Men,
rather than porno specifically, but they could be helpful...
