this is straightforward Adam. 40 days means 40 days.
Unless of course its a credit reference agency (7 working days)or an
accessible educational record (15 school days). And the OIC would prefer if
you responded promptly...
Have a nice day (24 hrs)

Subject: 40 days or 40 working days
Another query concerning SARs. I've been in touch with DPOs working in
Local
Authorities and have received contradictory information on the length of the
response time for a standard SAR.
S7(10) of the DPA simply refers to "forty days or such other period as may
be
prescribed". Taken literally, this would surely mean calendar - as opposed
to
working - days.
Can anyone back this up?
Cheers
Adam
