Hi everyone
there is a large event happening in Birmingham organised by the Office of
the Deputy Prime Minister on the Urban White Paper
The Urban Summit was a key part of the Urban White Paper and will be an
opportunity to reconfirm our commitment to urban renaissance.
The Summit will be a chance to recognise and celebrate what individual towns
and cities have achieved; to evaluate progress with the recommendations of
the White Paper and identify where further action is needed.
The Summit will take place at the Birmingham International Convention Centre
on Thursday 31 October & Friday 1 November and will feature talks from
national and international speakers, smaller presentations and fringe
events. It will also be an opportunity for you to see some of the successful
regeneration projects in the surrounding area.
