We have an HPLC reference method for creatinine. During our application
of the reference methods to methods in routine use in our region the
Vitros 250 (an enzymatic method) gave the closest agreement. If you want
to follow this up further please get back to me.

I have seen a number of patients recently with monoclonal IgM in whom
there
has been interference in the modified Jaffe method we use for
creatinine
(Olympus AU600). Does anyone have a HPLC creatinine method to sort out
this
problem (this type of interference has been described for enzymatic
creatinine assays a couple of years ago).
Many thanks
Rob
