I attended a conference last week for CMS and not (to me anyway)
surprisingly enough mysql and php seemed to be favourites.
It seemed that the outlay for an off the shelf commercial CMS
looks cheapish (starting at 30K) (for some unis I suppose) but
by the time it was installed working etc the cost in one case had
risen to 80K
We are using myslq and php for one major part of our web site
and I would like to expand this because it is works really well
the only problme is getting the exerpertize programmer, we had
to contract this out but really we should have an in house dedicated
person, probably much more cost effective as well.
Any idea when the application form for the Web Mgt Conf will
be available please?
