Hello Colleagues
I have a photocopy of a diagram which is a 3 row, 3 column matrix,
noughts and crosses arrangement.
"Figure 26. The margins of transportation use and service are
represented by the handicapped, the elderly, the poor, and the youth.
There are significant overlaps among each group."
It is from the right hand column of page 29/129/229 of a c. 1970s
American transport text.
Column A shows Youth, Column C is Elderly and Column B is the 18-65
y.o. population.
Row 1 shows Handicapped
Row 3 is Poor
Row 2 is neither poor nor handicapped
The boundaries of the rows and columns are arrowed, indicating that
they are not fixed.
A! = Handicapped Children, A2 = Handicapped, A3 = Elderly Handicapped
B1 = Youth, B2 = "The margins of transportation use and service". B3 = Elderly
C1 = Children of Poor, C2 = Poor, C3 = Elderly Poor
Does it ring a bell with anyone. Rather stupidly, I neglected to take
note of the source when I photocopied it.
Many thanks in anticipation
Pascal Desmond
