Seventh International Conference
on the Languages of Scotland and Ulster
Glasgow University Crichton Campus, Dumfries.

First Circular and Call for Papers.
The Forum for Research in the Languages of Scotland and
Ulster is pleased to announce that the seventh conference in this
series will be held in August 2003. The venue on this occasion will
be the Crichton Campus in Dumfries.
A major theme of the conference will be oral history and
oral collections, in all the languages of Scotland and Ulster and of
all periods.
Offers of papers, on this or any other aspect of Scottish or
Ulster language study, are cordially invited, and should be sent by
31 December 2002, by e-mail or by post to the following address:

Accommodation on campus is limited, but there is an
abundance of hotels and guest houses locally, and all delegates will
be accommodated according to preference. Further details regarding
conference fees and the social programme will be announced in future
circulars, of which the next will be sent out in January 2003.
