Using any kind of filter to view the Sun through, even during the partial
phases of an eclipse is potentially hazardous. It is much better to view
the event by projection through a small telescope, or using a simple
pin-hole viewer. If you want more infomation on the techincalities of doing
this contact me off-list and I'll oblige.
