Lecturer/Senior Lecturer in Science Communication
Faculty of Applied Sciences, University of the West of
England, Bristol
The University of the West of England is seeking to build
on its existing strengths in Science Communication to
further enhance UWE Bristol's national and international
reputation in this field (Grade 4 RAE 2001).
You will be able to demonstrate expertise and academic
credibility in taking science to the public and have a
track record of both innovation and project delivery. You
will be prepared to make an active and creative
contribution to teaching/learning and research.
You will play a key role in the creation of a portfolio of
undergraduate and postgraduate courses in collaboration
with Professor Frank Burnet, the Director of Graphic
Science at UWE, a research and development unit that
specialises in innovation in science communication.
