Yes, I agree. And you also have to understand the finances behind the
technology. Of course Blair wants the UK to get a good chunk of the GM food
business, which happens to be monopolised by a few companies. Whether this
is a good thing, of course, is questionable. And blaming people of being
anti-science because they are critical of not only the general degradation
of food caused by some of these technologies, but also of the fact that
fewer companies control more of the international food production is clearly
wrong.
