Subject: Always the outsider
This is hilarious! Bath UNiversity are blocking access to
my book 'Horsemen' on the WEb because the poem 'Always the outsider'
(which is a joke poem) contains the line
I hate the Welsh; an inferior nation
Someone has complained about it so according to University
Regulations the offending line must be removed. I have requested
to replace the lines of the poem by 'CEnsored by Bath University
Computing Services' so that the book is still available to
Webreaders. The poem is also in my 'Selected Poems' .
Perhaps I should extract the text for you. This is what
happens when universities adopt PC attitudes. I have to be
nice or they may chuck me off.
