David
it's the language of educational validation
u know that. as such it's compromised from the outset but . .
then read between the lines and you'll find a grit that is appropriate to
tactical nouse in respect of a poetic practice
tactics are used to create space for others to be creative in
the offer was made in respect of a discussion over criteria for ebaluation
of creative work and these strategies get around some of those silly senses
of judgement and deal with learning about framing and sustaining cultural
practices in the current climates
promoting the romance of decontextualised creativity, the ideology of the
garrett centre does nobody any favours and maintains the potential culture
of despair that engulphs so much poetry and nips positive circulation in the
bud
i find that knee-jerk naivite u espouse surprising
and i'm sure that doesn't surprise u
it's not about teaching poetry
do some simple translation and think what 'managing' ones practice really
entails for example - you're doing it yourself (even here) although u
won't acknowledge it that way
love and love
