Sorry to abut the delay for your book. If the press was also in Belfast, the critter that caused the fire is unlikey to have been a marsupial, since they've all been extinct in Europe (and Asia) for about 30 million years. In North America it would have to be a Virginia opossum; in South America and Australasia there are many possibilities. Never were any in Africa, as far as I know.
