I just saw on the Britpo list that Rupert is going to have
to pulp his books, which seems absolutely ridiculous. I
heard tonight via William Oxley/Fred Beake that Password
have gone bankrupt which may explain why he cant dispose
of copies. And in today's POetry REview it says that Password
want out of the small poetry press publishing scene basically
because Waterstones wont take their books (I saw Jackie Litherland's
Flambard in Darlington Ottakars at Christmas so there are
still some outlets). Ruperts taste in poetry is not mine
but it is a disaster if he and everybody else are forced
out of business.
