Love it! Marriage as aceticism. Though in some cases to be married
_is_ to burn - the institution has a problematic history after all;
the church demanded church ordained marriages in part to control the
satanic lasciviousness of women. What Paz is advocating in The
Double Flame is an eroticism of equality, which he says requires a
total re-imagining of what the human is. He locates much of this
re-imagining in feminism, and also in the future.
