Don't worry, Kent, about the accidental f/c, I'm laughing my head off at
that.
I was once an activist in the former NUR y'know, and briefly in the SWP. I
could ask you about the existence or not of Kent Johnson but we don't want
to delve too far into that (only joking mate)

Chris,
You didn't sell that Spart the big book on Trotsky and Surrealism,
did you? Pathfinder did that in early 80's, I believe, full of
fascinating documents. And of course, the original Malcolm X
books would be worth some money now. It's not widely known, the
big and direct impact Trotsky had on Breton and surrealist factional
politics. Someone should reprint that book.
What group were you a member of? I'm a former SWP'er, kicked
out of the party when I went to work in Nicaragua in 1980 without
prior permission from my local executive committee. This was
around the time the party began to collapse, having sent its entire
and considerable youth base on forced march into the industrial
unions, somethign which turnd me into a freight car repairman for a
couple years. I understand that Trotskyism in the U.K. currently
enjoys some strategic relevance, it having taken over the
leadership of rail and a couple other big unions? What tendency is
that, do you know? I've lost track of the fractal family tree. The idea
of revolutionary socialism enjoying a future revival in a major
industrial country is pretty wild. But then again, look at the
existence of David Bircumshaw. Anything is possible in this world!
I enjoy your posts. And just kidding, I assume you gathered, about
Richard Dillon. The guy's a loon, but not quite loony enough to be a
Spart...
