Dear Jan,
You're missing the point.
That is exactly what I meant. Please read the earlier posts. Conall
wrote about value analysis a a method for creative innovation in
design. I specifically quoted him on value analysis and TRIZ as
design methods for generating useful innovation.
You question value analysis as a method for creative innovation.
I am asking what it is in value analysis that leads you to question
this specific design method as a tool for creative innovation.
I am not asking about value analysis as a research method that
engineers use to identify data. I am asking why you question value
analysis as a design method for the kinds of creative innovation that
Connall's post and mine discussed.
Yours,
Ken
