The Center for Curatorial Studies at Bard College and the
Goethe-Institut New York present the second of two colloquia on the
education of curators in Europe.
This fall’s colloquium includes discussions of the training of curators
in contemporary art centers and fine arts academies; the professional
possibilities of women curators in the contemporary arts; and the
situation of curators of contemporary art in Central and Eastern Europe.
The first colloquium, held in February 2001, addressed curatorial
training in academic art history programs.
