Dear all,
a Lambda Physik EMG 101 E excimer laser (manufactured 1982) of
questionable functionality is available from the Department of Chemistry
at the University of Durham, U.K. The laser has always been used on XeCl
and was last operated in 1998. Two major faults are known: the internal
fan has failed and the internal cooling loop is leaking.
The laser would need a major overhaul and I have serious doubts that it
can be made operational again with reasonable effort. However, many
components are still in good order and can be used as spare parts.
The laser and a spare thyratron are available free of charge.
Transport/shipping needs to be arranged by the recipient.
Please contact me if you are interested and for more information.
Best regards,
Eckart Wrede
