Dear Colleagues,
There will be a study day on 15/3/02 - to be held near St.Pancras,
Female Genital Mutilation/Female Circumciscion:working well with
communities
This is a collaborative project between Middlesex University and Islington Health & Race, local
communities and Camden & Islington HAZ.
There are some subsidised places available for local practitioners. Contact Russell Maclean, Middlesex
University 0208 411 6776 for application. All colleagues would be
welcome. We hope to attract HVs, sexual health, those in
community development & or black/ethnic minority health work,
practice or public health nurses, (or medics), child protection
workers and educationalists, community health & Sure Start staff.
Please circulate this to any one or any network where there might
be interest in this topic. I also attach a pdf file with further details.
