Dear C.H.A.I.N. Member,
You, or perhaps a colleague or pupil, may be interested in the following
research funding opportunity:
The MRC invites applications for its career establishment grants. These
provide support for a fixed period for clinical and non clinical scientist
recently appointed to academic posts in medical schools, teaching hospitals
or universities to help them to establish themselves as independent
principal investigators. Applicants must normally:
- be planning to make a long term career in biomedical or health-related
research.
- have a PhD, DPhil or an MD (for medically qualified applicants).
- have at least three years postdoctoral research experience.
- Be in an established academic post in university, medical school,
teaching hospital or similar institution.
Applicants should prepare and submit their applications through the MRC<RIGHT SINGLE QUOTATION MARK>s
electronic application and assessment.
