There is still time to book a place at the MCG meeting to be held next
Tuesday and Wednesday, 16th and 17th April, at the Potteries Museum and Art
Gallery, Hanley, Stoke-on-Trent.
The meeting is an excellent opportunity to get up-to-date with news on a
national as well as a local front. David Dawson, Senior ICT Advise at
Resource: The Council for Museums, Archives and Libraries, will be attending
with news about several Resource initiatives including Renaissance and the
Hubs and new DCF applications. David will also update the meeting on the
Website design guidelines from the Office of the eEnvoy and the new National
Strategy for local e-Government.
The meeting is free to MCG members, but anyone who works with or has an
interest in ICT used in a museum or gallery environment can attend - we just
ask that you pay the £12.00 annual subscription. Information about joining
the MCG can be found at www.museumscomputergroup.org.uk
