Textile Heritage Project - Leicester City Museums
Leicester City Museums Service has, in partnership with other East
Midlands museums, been awarded a New Opportunities Fund grant to
develop a web-based 'virtual museum' celebrating the social, cultural,
economic and technical heritage of the East Midlands textile industry.
We are offering an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic
individual to undertake the digitisation of objects drawn from
collections within the region, and to contribute to creation of
content for the website. Working within the project team, the post
requires excellent ICT skills and experience of digitising and
web-based applications.
You will have:
yen experience of web-based ICT projects
yen a high level of written and spoken communication skills
yen experience of digitising processes and technology
