Indeed. There isn't enough time to fully do the job, let alone write about
doing it.

If there was a system set up, it would need to be very flexible to cope with
people working in very different industry sectors, including those of us who
do not, and never have, worked in any sort of library. My training needs for
my job are almost all on the IT side, for example.
