We have been granted a budget to buy soft and hardware that improves
computer access for disabled customers, in the light of the SENDA
legislation. We don't currently have any (known) disabled users, so we
can't ask them what they require, and instead must be proactive and make
provision for future users. Because of this, the idea of buying a
ready-made 'accessibility kit' which caters for the majority of
disabilities is an attractive option.
I am tempted to go for the Accessible IT Kit sold by Ability Net. Does
anyone have any experience of this kit they could share? Or does anyone
know of other suppliers of kits like this, for comparison?
Please reply off-list. If I get lots of responses, I'll summarise for
the list.
Thanks, Lindsay
