Dear All
I would like to endorse what Neil Dalley said in a reply to this
message. It would be good if we could try to agree a Code of Practice
for sending requests to each other as well as improve the availability
of our holdings so that it is less time consuming to locate items. Many
years ago SCONUL had a Code which said that we should spread our
requests among libraries and avoid always using the same few. Perhaps
we should try to get an updated version covering all sectors?

All this is rather unfortunate in our case because at our Kedleston Road site we are struggling with a staffing shortage and extra work is not what we're looking for right now!

Or at least under whose auspices someone could do the job?? Or are we all too busy????????
