Nanotechnology was launched in 1990 as the first journal dedicated to all aspects of nanoscale science and technology. The Institute of Physics aims to make it the primary source of information in this expanding field. The journal was relaunched in 2002 under the editorship of Professor Mark Welland (Cambridge University) with a broader scope and a new Editorial Board.
We are offering the journal free online to give our authors increased visibility and readership, while emphasizing our commitment to disseminate new research as widely as possible. We are confident that this initiative will be welcomed by the physics community, and ask that you convey the good news to your library users.
