Freelancers required
Redbridge Museum offer a range of sessions to families, adult groups
and schools for which freelance teachers are often required.
We are interested in recruiting experienced sessional staff to train
and use on a regular basis, and have sessions available from November. We
would also be interested in training up recent graduates or volunteers to
assist with sessions with the view to taking on paid work in the future.
Sessions currently run by the Museum include local history, toys and
Victorian childhood for schools, archaeology sessions for families and
groups, and family learning sessions including art and craft on alternate
Saturdays. Currently we would like 7-10 teaching sessions covered this term
and also 3 archaeology family sessions. Work will also be available next
year, hopefully on a regular basis.
If you would be interested in any amount of freelance work for the
Museum I would love to hear from you. Please reply by email initially and I
will call you back.
For those who may be unfamiliar with our location, Redbridge Museum
is a 10 minute train journey from London Liverpool Street and very close to
connected to the north circular - (very accessible for freelancers living
in and around London)!
I look forward to hearing from you
