Hello,
the problem is that if you update the FSLDIR and PATH variables in a console,
it is effective only until you close the console window. If you want elegant
click-way to start fsl, add following lines:
export FSLDIR=/home/user/fsl
export PATH=$PATH:$FSLDIR/bin
to your .bash_profile or .bashrc, logout, login and you should be able to
start fsl by clicking it in a file commander. (I assume that your fel
directory tree is in /home/user.
