Hello all,
Can I just put on record my thanks to Gordon for pulling the new-look site
together, and to mda for their continued hosting of the site. I guess this
is what is known in the web industry as a 'soft-launch' - there will be a
few more pages updated over the next few days, and as Gordon says, a new url
for the forum web site.
In the meantime the revised site includes the new logo for the forum, by
Mike Pringle of English Heritage, based on the successful entry in the logo
design competition we ran last Summer, plus links to the sites of
contributing organisations, an online copy of the Terms of Reference for the
forum and links to the archives for this list.
The plan is to have everything sorted in time for the Institute of Field
Archaeologists (IFA) conference at Leicester on 25th to 27th March, which
includes a session on the Tuesday morning devoted to FISH and standards
related issues.
Feel free to comment...
Edmund
