Sorry Colin - I think it was me who led us off down a blind alley.

This sound very interesting - FISH member Jason Siddall from National Trust
has been working on a thesaurus to support the MIDAS 'Archive/Source Type'
unit of information (working title the 'Thesaurus of Resource Description')
which inevitably does stray into the area of 'types of sources' - though
mainly at present sources used by the professional heritage manager rather
than the individual researcher. However the structure may be applicable, and
some of the detail too - it includes for example ORAL HISTORY TRANSCRIPT and
ORAL HISTORY RECORDING.
A 2nd version, incorporating the results of peer review, should be available
in the next couple of weeks.
Perhaps you could tell us a bit more about the sorts of things that are in
your draft thesaurus?
NB: If you would like assistance to peer review your draft, please feel free
to use this list to ask for volunteers.
Best wishes
