It was the best of times, it was the worst of times. but now it looks
as though the so-called browser wars have finally ended.
The face-off between Microsoft and Netscape during the 1990s may seem
to be little more than a historical footnote in the development of
the Internet, but its effect on the future structure and expansion
of the Web was dramatic.
