My fan club are busily booking tickets in the hope of catching a glimpse
of me at the following exciting events.
You may have your own more serious reasons for attending them,
especially since they all deal with current issues in the practice of
software development:
*Engineering E-business Systems workshop* Canterbury, 10-12 July.

eBusiness systems need to be more reliable, flexible, and rapidly
built than their forebears.

technology, software engineering and business.

model driven architecture & business engineering; eGovernment.

OMG's development process for UML2.0.

*XP2002* Sardinia, 26-29 May
http://www.xp2002.org
eXtreme Programming has proved very effective in cutting costs
for small-to-medium projects. But don't just read the book: there
are plenty of pitfalls. Discuss the principles and practices with
people who've done lots of it.
Still time to book your flight....
*OT2003* 30 March -- 2 April 2003
http://www.ot2003.org
Now open for session proposals for next year.
The OT conference on software architecture and methods is
"Where the experts learn". With most sessions in workshop format,
it's one of the liveliest, most participative conferences around.
If you'd like to explore a burning issue, propose a workshop session.
You can edit proposals after drafting them and discussing them
with the programme chair.
*Trireme International Ltd* at your site, whenever you like.
http://www.trireme.com
We continue to provide excellent courses and mentoring, working
alongside you on your project, to introduce new methods, new
platforms, techniques, and architectures.
BTW, don't be put off at the prospect of being inconvenienced by my fan
club. Whilst I have in the past been mobbed by hordes of hysterical
groupies, there has been a general trend in the last few years towards a
more select and more mature audience. And she tends to spend a lot of
her time in the nearby coffee shops.
Best wishes

P.S. Yes, this is a mass mailing, so, although I'd be happy to hear
from you, you needn't feel obliged to reply.
But if you don't want to receive any more notices like this
--- I plan to send out about one every three months ---
then please let me know, and I'll take you off the list.
