2nd PhD Student Workshop on Scheduling

Organised by the ASAP Research Group and the
Inter-disciplinary Scheduling Network.
WORKSHOP SUMMARY
--
Following a successful workshop in April of this year,
we are pleased to announce the next workshop for
this September at the City University, London.
The workshop is intended for PhD students to facilitate
discussion and the sharing of ideas in their ongoing
process of formulating and conducting research in the
area of scheduling. It is particularly interested in
bringing together PhD students working on any aspect of
scheduling from a variety of disciplines. The workshop
will be informal and will consist of short presentations
given by PhD students and an invited talk by an established
researcher in scheduling.

PARTICIPATION
--
Interested students are invited to submit a one
page abstract that describes their PhD research and
will be the focus of their presentation.
All accepted abstracts will be bound in a workshop
book and distributed to participants, free of charge.

FEES
--
The workshop (including lunch) is free of charge for PhD
students working in scheduling research. Information for
overnight accommodation (if required) can be provided.
IMPORTANT DATES

Abstract submission deadline: August 1, 2002.
Abstract acceptance announced: August 10, 2002.
Date of PhD Workshop: September 23, 2002
