We have had good experiences with the Intel compilier for Linux, partituclar
on dual-P4 boxes.
As a slight aside to this thread, we are also interested in F90 for win2000.
Has anyone downloaded and run the Intel compiler for Windows?
In particular:
1/ Does it really require us to install a copy of "Visual C++ 6.0
professional" (at £400+ per seat) before we can use it ?
2/ has anyone had any good/bad experiences with running it and if its
performance can match that of the Linux version?
Yours,
Daniel.
