Aberdeen City Archives has a vacancy for an Archivist. The full

date is November 18th (noon).
We are looking for a qualified archivist to work in a small team
providing archives and records management services to Aberdeen
City Council from two service bases within Aberdeen (The Town
House and Old Aberdeen House).
The unit is currently responsible for archives services to
Aberdeenshire Council and maintains archives on behalf of the
Moray Council and the Grampian Joint Valuation Board.
The successful candidate will share the full range of professional
duties, including searchroom supervision, archival cataloguing
(using CALM), records management, survey work and outreach.
Salary within range £16,673 - £27,479 (bar at £23,459), according
to qualifications and experience. At least one year's experience of
working in an archives office is required.
